One reason to install OpenCms on two machines could be to let one server
run the website making it available to the world and let the other server
be used for devlopers, contentproviders etc. to build and maintain the
site.
You could the presumably put a firewall between the two servers so only
the
"outside" server is accesible from outside in order to protect the site
against unauthorized manipulation (defacement, stealing licensed material
etc.)

Is this scenario possible with OpenCms ?
(two servers accessing the same repository and one of them only having
access for
webusers (no administrators etc.) )

Cheers,

Carl
