[opencms-dev] figures about amount of OpenCms installationsworldwide

My feeling for the number of live sites (rather than developer play areas)
is around 20,000.  And a Google search for

+"/opencms/en" -link:www.opencms.org

turns up 60,000 results.  A fair proportion of those are _about_ OpenCms
rather than by it, but perhaps that's matched by the proportion of sites
which hide /opencms/en in their URLs; and I'm being Anglo-centric, too.

Does anybody know figures about the amount of OpenCms installations
worldwide?

Do we talk about
> 100
> 1.000,
> 10.000,
> 100.000
???

Good guesses are welcome.

@Alkacon: It would be interesting how often OpenCms has been downloaded so
far. Do you have any figures available.
