Hi,
I'm also new with OpenCms and have been trying to setup a multilingual
site with OpenCms.
The way, as far as I understand it, to defined which language element to
show for the visitor is to set the locale property of the file (to en,
sv, de or what languages you have). To have different language element
you need to make a so called Sibling and defined another locale.
That is, you can have a file index.html addressed by
http://yoursite/index.html whick shows for example the English text
element and you can have a sibling with the name index_de.html
(http://yoursite/index_de.html) which show the German labguage element.
You can also choose the locale by adding the following after the
filename in the URL: __locale=sv, that is
http://yoursite/index.html?__locale=de.
But, if you read my resent posting I want another behavior than this.
But the above is maybe the way you want it.
