[opencms-dev] ftpd Problems

hi matze,

oopsi, i didn't see that one. someone else has described the same 
problem, and it has been fixed in the most recent release. problem had 
two parts: the first one was that i used Properties.saveToXML() which is 
not part of jdk1.4, the second one was that this lead to a throwable in 
a situation where under normal circumstance there would only be 
exceptions. this throwable was cast to exception, causing the 
ClassCastException you saw.

i am sorry for this mistake. i was under the impression i was compiling 
with a 1.4 compiler, so i didn't think about 1.4 compatibility, when in 
fact i had switched the default jdk to 1.5 a while ago.
