Hi, I have been implementing apache forrest with cocoon for my web app. 
I have so much content now that I need to port to an actual CMS system. 
Does anyone have feedback to offer with regard to
1. customization of the xml code/templates in terms of the UI for 
branding purposes
2. general overall app customization (if I alter the java, is it jsp 
code or java where I have to do a build, or just throw new jsp pages up 
to be generated?
3. customization of the xml code for individual page layout and section 
(grouping of content types with different layouts per section)
4. can open cms as admin set roles to control approved people only 
logging in but set their access and functionality?
5. does this app allow a set up of auto generated emails sent to the 
admin when say new content is uploaded that may need approval before 
going live?

I appreciate any feedback, just sorting out with open source app to go with!
