[opencms-dev] why is html editor removing my "style" ?

why is the html editor inside structured content removing my style tags?
the html editor for xmlpage is not doing that.
why?

and I find that the bold button add <strong> tag with IE but add <span 
style="font-weight: bold;"> tag with Firefox. any idea? therefore with 
firefox the bold button is not working
