[opencms-dev] Publish NEW resources

Hi all
Does somebody know, how to publish a NEW resource through an api method?
I normally oublish resouces with cmsObject.publishResource(string path), but
this doesn't work for new ones, it seems.
(got the error message that cannot direct publish cause folder is new)
Do I may need to do this with a CmsPublishList?
Hope to get a solution for this
