weird. Maybe you can look into the listing of the cached template elements.
(Admin view->flex cache Administration)
- Is there anything cached?
- Try purging the cache and reloading the page. I know that you wrote
that caching is disabled for you in offline mode (which also is the
default setting because caching in offline mode is usually more harmful
than helpful), but you won't lose much by taking a look
