[opencms-dev] SSL for workplace

Dear RuiXian,

thank you for your answer.
Setting the workplace URL seems to work fine for me. Whenever a
workplace resource is called, opencms will redirect to the
SSL-Connection now.

No, seems to work well for me, too.
I also just use Apache for that. Tomcat is not reachable directly from
outside.

Why does your JVM need to know your certificate? Do you mean your local
JVM, so that you can use the upload applet?
I don't know where you would do this and I must say that I never used
the applet. For me the old upload function is fine and I like its
ability to unzip a zip file on the fly.
