Yes class loading problems are always fun :)
To start with, you probably want to remove servlet-api.jar and jsp-api.jar
from your module, since those are provided already by the application
server. So there is a change that your libraries would overwrite the newer
ones on your application server.
Regarding log4j. There is a newer version already part of the OpenCms
distribution, so you don't really need that one either. I have never tried
to load two different versions of the same library, but is it probably pot
luck which one gets loaded first if you do...

Olli

Subject: [opencms-dev] Re: blank screen instead of OpenCMS workplace
loginFIXED
I fixed this problem by removing a module that a coworker had
installed that included some libraries. My follow-on question is
whether any of the following libraries conflict with OpenCMS such
that their presence causes the OpenCMS workplace login to fail with a
blank screen:
* servlet-api.jar
* log4j-1.2.8.jar
* jsp-api.jar
* edbc.jar
(edbc.jar has the OpenIngres 2.x JDBC drivers). Thanks. -- Bill Edwards

Hi all--I am currently getting a blank screen instead of the OpenCMS
workplace login screen. What are some causes and remedies for that?
If I can't get to the bottom of this, I am probably going to clean-
install OpenCMS. I am currently running 6.2.1--I will probably
upgrade to 6.2.3 if I re-install. Any hints would be appreciated.
Thanks!
