[opencms-dev] How to get a XML content preview via API

Christoph -

I don't know if this is a mad idea, but... If the rendering JSP is one of
yours, couldn't you get it under certain circumstances (e.g. when parameter
is set) to replace the 'out' variable with a Writer stream of your own?
This could be a StringWriter, etc etc.

How does your custom tag evaluate the content? And how does it make use of
the template?
Could you give an example?
