[opencms-dev] Change type of multiple files?

Is there anyway to change the type of multiple files?  Our content creator
started creating content before I had the structured content schemas done. 
Now, I'm having to manaully change the type of each file and then modify the
control code directly to get it to work with the schema.

Any way to batch or automate this a bit?
