[opencms-dev] restricting search with org.opencms.search.CmsSearch.setSearchRoot - should this method work?

Yes I found this solution from the mailing list. However, as far as the
org.opencms.search.CmsSearch.setSearchRoot function is concerned, it that
not working then?

Hi,

just use the admin tool to build a new search index that's limited to the
resources you like and use this index in your search page.
