[opencms-dev] how to search whole site?

Hi All,
Now I want to customize all default content type(e.g. folder, page with
text, plain text, xml content type ... ) by appending common attributes.
When  end-user create such content instance, I will fill in the attribute
values. Then I will try to retrieve out all instance (folder, page with
text) whose attributes meet condition. For example, I add such an industryId
for all content types, then is it possible to search out all object(folder,
xml content, page with text...) whose industryId = 100?
