[opencms-dev] cms_contents table is growing permanently

First let me wish you an happy new Year !

So, now my question :

why the "cms_contents table" is growing permanently ?
When I delete and publish some contents, no rows seems to be deleted in
the cms_contents table ? is it normal ? is a purge script exists ?
