I also meant binary distribution. I just downloaded that version and checked
the installlation.html file.
In case your server use Linux, jdk prior 1.4.2 do not use Native POSIX

I never used 6.0.4, just checked that to verify it is not working with jdk
versions prior to 1.4.2.
