At the moment I just don't know what the problem is. But it occurs on Tomcat 
6 and JBoss 4.2 with JSF 1.2. (Sun's RI) Both work with JSF 1.1.

Did anybody ever use OpenCms with some JSF 1.2 implementation?

Currently I'm digging into the JSF code to find out more about the JSF 
internals. That's actually not what I wanted to do :-(

Please report back if you find out anything useful. I'l do the same.
