[opencms-dev] read file content from RFS - pls help

hi everyone :-)
i use Opencms 7.0.4 in a multisite env with apache 2+tomcat+mysql in a Linux
CentOs 5 machine;
...all work properly.
...
is there a way, trough a custom .jsp script inside Opencms 7.0.4
workplace(VFS), to read content of a physical text file from the rfs (real
file system, so a text file inside a specified linux folder) ?
(i do not mean upload or html import function from workplace)
