[opencms-dev] Password Encoding

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

Here is an example of "test" password.

Opencms encoded it as : 
CY9rzUYh03PK3k6DJie09g==
Where MD5 encoding is :
098f6bcd4621d373cade4e832627b4f6

I'm a bit lost :s

Hi Julien!

There has been no change in password encoding.
and indeed per default it is MD5 but you can configure something else in 
the opencms-system.xml/opencms/system/passwordhandler configuration node
