[opencms-dev] OpenCms 7.0.4 with Lucene 2.2.0

Hi List,

is there a particular reason for deploying the current version of
OpenCms (7.0.4) with Lucene 2.2.0 (version 2.3.1 seems to be the
latest stable version and was released on 2008/02/23) ?

I'm asking because I want to use OpenCms with Hibernate 3.2, which
provides Lucene version 2.3.0 for 'hibernate-search'.

Up to now I didn't have the time to check if there might be a
problem with updating OpenCms' Lucene JARs to a more current
version.

If anyony has made some experience regarding this issue please
let me know by responding to the List. I will let you know when
I get around to trying this out ...
