[opencms-dev] rewriting of hrefs?

Hi,
 
I'm working with an issue where OpenCms seems to be re-ordering link information. 
 
For example, an anchor link that should be: https://www.abc.com/abc/#version?selectedVersionId=123 When the page is saved, even after making the change in ‘source edit’ the URL changes to this: https://www.abc.com/abc/?selectedVersionId=123#version #version gets moved to the end of the URL making it invalid. 
 
Is there anyway to prevent the rewriting of hrefs for anchor links?
