[opencms-dev] Summary of the first OpenCms development Sprint

Hi all,

The first OpenCms Sprint was held September 9-10, 2008 in the KOMED
convention center in Cologne, Germany. A total of 10 developers attended the
Sprint.

Results and proceedings of the Sprint are now available for download on
opencms.org:

The following topics where tackled during the 2 days of the Sprint:

 * Updating OpenCms 3rd party libraries
 * OpenCms database layer with JPA
 * Creating navigations with XML Content
 * Integrating OpenCms with Maven
 * Integrating Workflow in OpenCms

More information about the individual results, including generated patches
and download files, is available for each topic on opencms.org.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the Sprint or provided input. I
believe this was a valuable event which should be repeated in the future.
