[opencms-dev] re stricted area problem - login only with users group permission - pls help

Hi All,

i use opencms 7.0.4+apache+tomcat+proxy modrewrite in a multisite
environment;
i have tried to do all things explained inside the following tutorial:

in order to create an auth login for a specified restricted file (called
protected.html).
i know in opencms 7.0.4 "webuser" group is intended differently from the
opencms 6.x version,
so i have create a new organizational unit called: WEBUSERS (with hide from
login form and Webuser organizational unit checkboxes set to true), with a
group inside called TEST.
then i have created a new user "pippo"(password: pippo) member of the TEST
group;
then i set permission to the file protected.html as explained in the
tutorial,
leaving Guest groups unchecked and read/view allowed for the TEST group;
and pubblished the file;
when i try to call it from the site:
http://www.myste.it/protected.html
an auth popups window appears as expected claiming user/pass:
entering user/pass pippo/pippo -> system refuses and after 3 times i get
tomcat response
with a HTTP Status 401.
...
if i enter in the auth window an user that is member of the USERS group of
the root organizational unit
-> i can log in the page.
but this is not the purpose, since the USERS members can log in in the
workplace too.
..
am i doing something wrong with the tutorial steps ?
