[opencms-dev] PDFBox Usage

Hi,

I am currently facing some problems using PDFBox 0.7.2 for image
generation from PDFs that seem to be fixed in 0.7.3. I saw that during
the OpenCms sprint somebody already evaluated the update of the jar but
skipped it due to failing tests

Is PDFBox currently only used in the search package or am I missing some
modules? I'd like to investigate further on why the tests are failing.

Does anybody know more about its usage?
