Emne: [opencms-dev] creating new structured content... RE: user lists?
Gentlemen (and perhaps a few ladies),
Thanks for the comments below!
I am new and learning very fast. I am trying to create a new content type of
type name "video". My aim is to create video then create playlists, players
and so on for our site. I understand that I will have to update the
opencms-modules.xml file and create schemas in a new module that I am
making. As far as I understand I am following the documentation to the
letter and I did not find the documentation itself very hard to comprehend
(i.e. it is GREAT), but I just am not seeing my content type when I hit
"New" and choose "structured content" on the workplace window... what could
I be missing?
Thank you all!
Best,
James Baker

Usually, starting a new thread for a new question with an appropriate
subject improves your chance to get answers...
Anyway, a good point for starting with OpenCms is the documentation coming
it. Just go through it.
Another good starting point is it's wiki page at
http://www.opencms-wiki.org/
And, did you search the archives of this list? I remember this question
being asked before.
