[opencms-dev] Passing through Windows User-Credentials?

hello,

is it possible to pass through the windows user credentials, when logging
in to a opencms intranet-site?
I want to introduce opencms as the intranet CMS-System in our company and
one prerequisite is, that the users can log in without manually typing in
their credentials.
Does it work by using the LDAP-Module in the OCEE-Edition, mightbe we will
buy that extension.
Is it possible, to update the normal install with the OCEE-Edition?
