[opencms-dev] OpenCms 7.x: WebDAV - no overwriting of files possible - just for confirmation

Hi list,

as I mostly use the OpenCms Maven Plugin, I rarely used the OpenCms WebDAV feature.

Yesterday I started looking deeper into that feature.

As the excellent tutorial on http://www.opencms-wiki.org/WebDAV_access_to_the_OpenCms_VFS explains, it is possible to copy, move, delete and create resources with the plugin, whereas double-clicking and editing is not possible.

Additionally I found out, that it seems not to be possible to overwrite an existing file (copying a file from my local drive to the OpenCms WebDAV folder).

Can anyone confirm this or give me a hint if I am doing something wrong.

I used the Windows XP "Web Folders" feature and am not using

· the Eclipse WebDAV Plugin

· Total Commander WebDAV Plugin

· Novell Netdrive

At least a question to the guys from Alkacon: Do you have plans to add the missing features in the near futures?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Regards
