[opencms-dev] Importing External Data into OpenCms

A customer would like to make external data available within OpenCms and they have the data available as an xml file.  They would like to be able to import the data into OpenCms and use the search feature to query the data? Is this something that OpenCms could easily do? Any suggestions?
