Hi Roman,
thank you for your answer.
Strange, until yesterday evening I had no Response to my mail. Perhaps this
was because I switched from digest mode "on" to "off" in the mail-list.
But none of the received posts included my answer.
This morning then, after I wrote the second mail, I found your first
answer. I apologize for that.
Thank you again, but I don't really know in which template I can insert
your proposal.
I know that I can force the Browser to get the page from the server by
adding the date to the html-page (like "index.html?12435166177288"). So I
would like to change the link in the tab that leads to the login-page, but
I don't know which file in the Template-two module creates the
navigation-tabs.
Best regards
Frank

Frank, I already replied the same yesterday, didn't you read it?
Btw, you could also use
CmsRequestUtil.setNoCacheHeaders(response);

Betreff: [opencms-dev] Open Page without Browser Cache in OpenCms
Does really nobody have an idea to the following Problem??? :-(
Hello,
I am looking for a solution already too long:
My site works fine with firefox, but it displays old pages with the IE (any
version 6-8) with the Browser-cache set to automatic (default-setting).
The problem is:
- When the first guy logs in on the Log-in page, he can work normally. Then
he logs out.
- Another guy logs in with his credentials and can work as well. But when
he returns to the Log-in page, suddenly the page without the login
information is loaded (online project). After performing a manual refresh
his login-condition is correct again.
So my question: Where can I do adjustments (meta-tag /
javascript-reload(true) in order to dump the cached page out of the
browser. Can I set a reload-order on the main-navigation tabs of the page.
If yes, how shall I do this?
Thank you in advance already.
Regards
Frank
