Hi Graeme

It is possible, but you will have to write your own widget.

There's a book called OpenCms 7 Development<http://www.packtpub.com/opencms-7-development> that covers this topic in a nice way ("pluggable" custom source widget). It's also available as an e-book, so you'll get started right away.

Best regards,
Paul

Subject: [opencms-dev] Dynamic content in Structured Content Types

Hi,

I am able to make basic Structured Content Types with the MultiSelectWidget like so:
<layout element="Subject" widget="MultiSelectWidget"
                configuration="Good|Bad|Ugly" />

What if I wanted to pull in data for the configuration element from a database? Is this possible within OpenCMS?

Thanks
