Dear Giovanni,
in our projects, when authenticated users have to upload and share files, we
usually:
- define an OpenCms structured XML content for the file (it contains also
file metadata like description);
- create a simple web application that use OpenCms API for uploading files
and creating new content.
Hope this helps,
Giuseppe

Subject: [opencms-dev] Best practices
Hi,
is there any best-practice (or howto) for building a website where
authenticated users can upload and share files?
It is better to setup the opencms workplace or a webform module or
something other for uploading while sharing with the doccenter module?
Thanks in advance for any info and help
Giovanni Cavalli
