[opencms-dev] Copy and Replace Resources

Hello all,
 
Is there a way to copy a folder (say /en/news/) to another already existing
folder (say /de/news/) AND force overwriting of content?
 
Let's say I have /en/news/ and /de/news/. Now I (for whatever reason) want
to *copy and replace* the EN news to the DE news. Is there a way to do this?
Workplace or cmsshell suggestions would be great!
