thanks a lot for your answer. Even if you are saying not very much, it sounds, that there will be something really big waiting for all OpenCms fans.

Kai,
nothing really has changed since my last post.
The main focus of OpenCms 8 will be the new way of OpenCms usage for
content editors as described at the OpenCms Days 2009.
The release should be in Q4 2010, and we are still right on track to
hold this. We will not announce a more detailed release date yet, as it
would be not very serious to do so.
But we can assure you that we do NOT want to release it on 31.12.2010.... :)
Other features besides this will be included if time permits.
The only thing I can say right now, is that is already looking good and
that it's worth waiting. Content editors will be very pleased to use it.
