The site under the OpenCMS system resolves fine in the web browser but any attempts to log into the site using the login page result in a 304/200 error.

This information may or may not be important but this particular web server happens to be running an older OpenCMS 6.5 platform on a Debian Linux server -> running Apache2.

A quick look at the Apache2 access logs shows the following entries:

172.XX.XXX.XX - - [08/Sep/2010:11:35:01 -0700] "GET /system/login/ HTTP/1.1" 200 20 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8"

The OpenCMS workplace just stopped resolving on my yesterday afternoon.

My network administrator asked me very specifically if I had made any recent changes to any configuration files, either for Apache, Tomcat, or OpenCMS. I replied that I had not, not for several months and those changes were strictly limited to a mod_proxy configuration file for Apache.

Is there anyone out there who can help me to determine what is going on here?
