Lets say it this way - OpenCms development is made with MySql.
And most of the OpenCms users we know use MySql.
From our experience, the second most used DB is Oracle, while Postgres,
DB2 or MS Sql-Server is not so widely used.
Of course we have no absolute numbers, but this is the impression we get
form customer feedback.
