Hi,

I deployed the OpenCms 8 artifacts to our maven Repo:
http://bp-cms-commons.sourceforge.net/m2repo/org/opencms/

You can now Simply use the Archetype to create a new module with Maven and Opencms 8 dependencies:
http://opencms-wiki.org/Developing_OpenCms_with_Maven_%28inkl._Eclipse%29
