[opencms-dev] Alkacon Calendar Module

Hi folks,

I hope you'll forgive me for asking another very basic question. It would really save me some time. I am looking for a tutorial on how to use the Calendar module as a date picker. Basically I have a form where the user may enter seminar dates along with extra info, like who is presenting the seminar, what is the title usw. I was thinking of embedding the module in the page, possibly with its selection going into the form field. The data would be stored in a MySQL database.

Is this at all the right way of going about it? Does the Calendar module offer storage already, like in the OpenCMS VFS? Where do I find some sample pages with the Calendar widget being used to enter dates into a database?
