[opencms-dev] Disable ADE for Template

Hi all,

thanks for your answers.

What I would like to get working: I would like to use containerpages and fill them with items via backend only. I want to disable ADE controls in the frontend.

I tried to simply remove the <enable-ade /> tag in the main.jsp template file but this causes the javascript errors.

Best Regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

I don't really get what you are trying to do.

Do you want to use a container-page and edit it through old style direct edit? That won't be possible. Container-pages are ADE only.

If you could explain in more detail what you are trying to achieve, there may be another solution.

Greetings, Tobias
