[opencms-dev] Opencms 8 Search - exclude .content Folder

Sandrine,

thats a good approach but I'm afraid the demo doesn't use this feature and .content files aren't shown in the searchresult though. Any other suggestions?

Best Regards,
Andreas

I don't have the devdemo module on hand but you can check property "search.exclude" on the folders. Set it to "true" and the content under the folder will not be stored in the rebuilt index.

Hi,

I set /sites/ to my index as that's also the Flower Demos preset. I don't know where the difference between my and the demos configuration is.

Best Regards,
Andreas

Try to set only the folders of container pages in your index, and not the .content folder.

Hi,

how is it possible to exclude the files located in the .content folder from search results? I always get search Results like "http://domain.com/opencms/opencms/.content/articles/article.html" instead of the link to the corresponding containerpage.

Best Regards,
Andreas
