[opencms-dev] UTF8 character encoding issue in OpenCMS 8.0.2

Hi ,

Initially we had the cms version 7.5.2. We now upgraded it to 8.0.2. After
the upgrade , we observed an issue when trying to edit and save the contents
of an HTML page containing umlauts(languages other than English). If done
so, the UTF-8 encoding is not properly happening , resulting in junk
characters being displayed in the field and in the rendered HTML file.
Similarly, junk characters are appearing in fields of the 'Properties'
screen where we enter the content in other languages.
For eg: Coordonnées de contact - Afrique   is rendered as  Coordonnées de
contact - Afrique

Our issue is also similar to the issue mentioned in the url below,
