[opencms-dev] version 8 question

Hi,

I was quite familiar with with 7.5* version of opencms. Now I dont have any clue where to start this new version 8.
I created a basic container page.. and added elements using drag and drop. I am fine with that. but 2 questions.
1) there are some basic modules to drag and drop elements. but how can I create my own elements ????
2) how can I delete the existing ones
