[opencms-dev] Access OpenCms remotley

Hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to access OpenCms remotely. For example access CmsShell or create a CmsObject on a different server to the one running the OpenCms instance.
I ask this because I am wanting to create a Java program that is capable of uploading a Cms module remotely e.g. from a build server.

Anyone have any idea if this is possible? The only idea I have at the moment would be to interface with the HTTP requests which seems a bit hacky.
