[opencms-dev] Sorting in Workplace-Lists

Hi,

we have a folder in workplace that contains 1600 items, partitioned on more than 20 pages.
Editors need to access some of these items from time to time to change user rights.

I'm looking for possibilities, to make this work more comfortable for them. 
It seems that it is not possible to change the sorting of the items in workplace (I tried to click on column headers).
Finding items with source code search is possible, but I'm not able to access the context menu of an item in the resulting list. Thus I'm not able to change the user rights from that list.

Does someone has any hints for me, how to make the work for the editors more comfortable?
Is there any support for handling folders with lots of items, like
- sorting
- filtering
- increasing items per page
