Hi Rizvi,

You can send the exact portion of the log that recorded the error?
validation error for connection ou xml ?

I suggest that you begin to isolate the possible sources causing this
problem:
1 - Try install OpenCms 7.5.4..
2 - Try install OpenCms 8 using Tomcat, or JBoss 4.2.2 (If work, problem
descriptor jboss, xml, you need investigate)
3 - Try install in other DataBase (MySql for exemple), preserving the
environment, for test
4 - Try install in some environment but only change O.S.
5 - .....

But I belive this problem cause with JBoss 4.2.0, because is responsible
for carrying out this validation.

Good Luck,

Deiverson
