A new release of the OpenCms module developer plugin for Eclipse
(version 0.0.8) has been released today. This release adds support for
OpenCms 8.0.2, based on a patch submitted by Yangguang. Thanks!

This release also contains a new feature submitted by Dirk Lembke
(about two years ago...) Anyway, his contribution allows you to set
the location of the OpenCms source code in the Eclipse preferences
page. It will be set on the classpath of new OpenCms module projects.
Now you can step through OpenCms source code when debugging your module
or see the sources when you open an OpenCms class declaration in
Eclipse. Thanks Dirk!

The plugin is 'tested' against OpenCms versions 6.0.2, 6.2.2, 7.0.5,
7.5.1 and 8.0.3.

If you are working with the latest OpenCms release (8.0.2 or newer),
you are advised to upgrade your plugin to this new version. You can
read more on this plugin at
http://www.redstardevelopment.nl/opencms/opencms/en/opencms/plugin/.
The page also contains a download link.

How to upgrade:
Exit Eclipse. Drop new plugin jar in the plugins directory of your
Eclipse installation and remove the old one. Start Eclipse with the
-clean option as startup parameter. And you're done.

Kind regards,

Dave Schoorl
