[opencms-dev] Upgrade from 7.5.3 to 8.0.3 problem

Hi Christian,

updating the OpenCms configuration files can be very tricky. The updater sometimes fails on this task. The workaround you describe is probably the best way to handle this issue.

For future releases we will try to make the updater more reliable.
