[opencms-dev] OAMP Webform module

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, Antonio. That's a real bummer, since I never use container pages anywhere. They are a very nice addition to OpenCms, don't get me wrong, but currently I have no plans of ever using them.

(I actually use a similar concept, but based on structured content. It's far more restrictive in terms of "which content goes where" in the page layout, and it's working very well for us because it doesn't put layout / design decisions in the hands of the editors - at least not to the same degree as with container pages.)

I don't know if it's the actual direction is Alkacon is taking, but if every OAMP module update will eventually have container page dependency, it's a real shame. I hope somebody at Alkacon reads this and has the time to comment. I can't be the only one using OpenCms 8 - and future updates - without container pages.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,

you have to call your content form from a container page. The working is different respect to old WebForm version.

Hi,

Am I missing something elementary here? When I try to view my form, I get this:

OpenCms 8.0.4 (fairly fresh)
OAMP Webform 2.0
MySQL
Tomcat 6

I followed the instructions in the "Step by step installation procedure" and "Configuration" in the module documentation.

Any ideas?
