[opencms-dev] allInSubTreeDateDesc trouble

Thanks Paul,

Yeah I noticed that if I use allInSubTreePriorityDateDesc it will work as
expected.

Funny about the allInSubTreeDateDesc. One would expect that that one would
be also looking for collector:date.

Regards,

Olli

Hi Olli,

The collector allInSubTreePriorityDateDesc should get the order right, as
long as you're mapping a timestamp to the collector.date property, like
this:

<mapping element="Published" mapto="property:collector.date" />

Best regards,

Paul

Subject: [opencms-dev] allInSubTreeDateDesc trouble

Hi all,

I have some news items I am collecting in my JSP using allInSubTreeDateDesc.
The issue I have is that the order seems to be random. I have checked
collector.date property for all items and the dates seem to be ok for them,
so they should be in correct order.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what might cause this?

Regards,

Olli
