[opencms-dev] NetBeans and jsp parser

I haven't used NB in years, but in Eclipse there's a place where you can edit which errors the parser will check and how it reports what it finds. Perhaps NB has the same feature where you can disable the "bad value" check or even set it to "warn only."

Subject: [opencms-dev] NetBeans and jsp parser

Dear list,

I'm using NetBeans (7.1.2) to edit the jsp pages for OpenCms (8.0.4).
My problem is that NetBeans reports false errors when parsing the jsps
(I have already filed a bug: see
http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=212497). Summarized, we
often build dynamically the "href", "id" and "name" attributes of the
"a" elements. NetBeans seems to not understand variables inside this
attributes, thinks that they are made of white spaces, and reports
"bad value" errors.

Since a few days I'm getting obsessed with this bug, as they distract
me from other real problems. Has anyone already experienced this
problem and has already a workaround?

Best regards,

Alberto Gallardo
