[opencms-dev] ADE: creating the first page in a site

Hi Robert,

Yes, You Need some "tech" person to create those initial pages, formatters and templates. and it will be easy for others to edit.there is no way one can directly start create new ADE pages.

we were recently discussing about ADE after we had tried to create and 
fill a new site. From OpenCms 7, we knew an empty site as an empty 
site, i.e. the editor goes to the workplace view and starts creating 
resources. Now in OCMS 8 with ADE, it seems to be impossible to create 
the initial content for a new site from within ADE. It seems like you 
can only use ADE if there is already at least one container page in 
the site. But, if you think of non-technical editors working with the 
CMS, you'll probably still need at least one person who is tech-savvy 
to create the initial page in the new site. Is this correct? Or did we 
miss something?
